About Us
Field Ready for Humanitarian Innovation is an independent, locally led Syrian NGO officially registered in 2025. We develop and scale innovative, community-driven solutions to address Syria’s post-conflict humanitarian and development challenges. Founded by experienced Syrian professionals, our work builds on a strong legacy of locally made solutions and community empowerment in Northwest Syria. We are proud members of the Field Ready Global movement—committed to making what is needed, where it is needed—while maintaining full Syrian leadership, decision-making, and contextual relevance.

Local Solutions
Humanitarian Innovation
At the heart of our work is a commitment to humanitarian innovation. We design and scale low-cost, practical solutions that respond directly to urgent needs in Syria. From WASH systems and medical equipment to shelter and education tools, our innovations are locally produced and adapted to the realities on the ground. Through community makerspaces, design thinking, and co-creation labs, we empower people to solve problems with the resources they have.
Economic Empowerment
Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment
We believe that sustainable recovery starts with economic opportunity. That’s why we invest in youth and women, equipping them with digital, technical, and entrepreneurial skills. By supporting small business development, local manufacturing, and repair economies, we create pathways to self-reliance and help communities move from aid dependency to economic participation.

Rebuilding Syria requires more than infrastructure—it requires social cohesion and resilience. We engage youth and women as active leaders in their communities, foster dialogue among displaced, returnee, and host populations, and support inclusive initiatives that bring people together around shared goals. Our Innovative Solution
Design Process
Field Ready Syria starts with the end-user and works to solve their problems, with them. Through participatory development techniques and Human Centred Design, Field Ready engages end users in every step of program delivery – from needs assessment to our exit strategy.
Our solution involves working closely with end users to understand problems and develop solutions. Our aim is to respond rapidly and address problems that may have been overlooked or deemed “too hard” by other humanitarian responders.
